Important key to cope

Keyword: perpetuation Remember Genghis Khan, the greatest king Remember the Mongol's nomad swift, less burdened, no vanity, free, adaptive, formless Remember the settled and stationary dynasties (Chinese, Middle-East, Europe, basically all) Remember the knights in armor My old thought that Genghis khan is the one I respect THE MOST is not regrettable in the slightest bit He avoided perpetuation Others tried to establish perpetuation and were beaten miserably by him Maybe there is a tendency to be inclined to perpetuation in human nature I am also guilty of that I tried to control my future self, I tried to perpetuate good virtues onto me Looking back, I've been no different than those settled dynasties It's what I realized only now Depending solely on every passing moment, I becomes god, becomes a moron, becomes a slob, becomes a sage, becomes a clown, and so forth There is no perpetuation That's the key mindset to cope well Remember Genghis Khan, the greatest king Also, remember 'conformity vs individuality' applied on oneself by Ralph Waldo Emerson

If I ever write books

Chapter 1's theme would be "The major premise: Nothing can be truly true with the possible exception of mathematical statements" -The only strict truth is about division -Humans can't even define one word definitely, let alone a sentence (Except mathematics) -Therefore what I am writing is also, inherently not well-defined Chapter 2's theme would be "Why life is nothing but cope" -And I might be doing you a disservice telling this -Knowledge is not always better than ignorance (Refer to "In a spaceship to hell", "Stuck in a pipe, unable to move,") -It's a nominal warning, which I know you would probably ignore, but whatever, I don't care Appendix "On suicide" -Do whichever you like, Both are valid options Chapter 3's theme would be "The art of cope: How to cope" -Perfect coping is something that can be done in any environment -I've never seen a perfect coper (Obviously most of the main parts are omitted above) I convinced myself about chapter 2's theme Now I'm digging into chapter 3's theme

Aging

Infants In our childhood, we ardently use our brains to find regularities in this 'new and complicated world' Trying to make sense out of this chaotic world As we grow, we succeed in finding so-called regularities (which is never perfect like mathematics, but useful), thus making lives simpler, which means not needing to use brains as ardently Life becomes simpler Those life's regularities are not perfect So many exceptions are there But, enough to subsist as mediocre The error-reward ratio is reasonable! (error: originated from the regularities not being perfect reward: no need to use brain, with good amount of success rate of the regularities) So we settle! We stop using brain And that's how aging happens

Copability

Why do rich people suffer? Why boredom-and-pain pendulum? Because they lack copability

What if they knew?

Many times, maybe almost all times, people who've accomplished great things say "I didn't have a clue in the beginning that I would be this successful" Even Trump wrote something like that in one of his books What if they knew? What if they expected that to happen?

Delegating thinking to others

(This post includes similar contents to some preexisting posts') "Because everybody does / did it" (No one blatantly says the above, but it is the underlying rationale) Very shameful and lazy way of thinking They don't think for themselves They delegate thinking to others Importantly, they are not aware that they are delegating They think { a noun } is { an adjective } "inherently", not "provisionally" But upon everybody saying otherwise, they quickly change their thinking accordingly They think they think, but they don't (This sentence doesn't make sense logically but I chose rhyme over clarity intentionally: They think they made some judgements not just because others said so but because they also agreed with them based on their own thinking) They are so lazy that they delegate thinking to others They chose to be robots, controlled by manipulators, settling for the situation where they don't need to "think", in exchange for animalic comfort They are cowards (Even when they show so-called courage, that is manifested always in a recognizable form, recognized as courage by others It's hilarious to mention about courage for someone who is afraid of and thus stopped thinking) They are so afraid that they chose to be robots instead of remaining as humans when surrounded by robots

Reductionist

I am not talking about some random trivial topic It is important, I emphasize Reduction is everywhere The world is full of reductions People tend to like to find regularities to reduce the complexity of life (Actually that's the base of science) Almost all of what we are taught are reductions If you have courage, brain power, and will, don't be a reductionist, confront the complexity, even though then you would always feel discomfort

Life is so fragile

Perseverance Patience Passion Will power Diligence Godlikeness ... So fragile There's no guarantee that those will continue to be manifested in one individual in various circumstances I've spent so many years in vain attempts to perpetuate those traits onto myself But I now realize that my current self can't guarantee or impose those traits on my future self My future self should obtain those traits solely on his own It's never-ending endeavor, never-ending fight, never-ending cope It's hard It's frustrating to admit that fact Of course, I admit that 1. habit 2. environment can be helpful in prolonging the obtainment of those traits But establishing and heavily relying on them are not a 'perfect' solution (can be a good, and even great solution) (Why? Almost all successful people in the world, they preach about effort / passion / perseverance / perspiration But hilariously, in different fields, they can't be significant, even if they try hard in those fields The truth is, that their success is mostly based on their inclinations Relying on habit and environment is, like making 'dependency' in that: Your initial ability to obtain those virtues in totally different fields from scratch diminishes, as you become 'dependent' on the specific establishment Once the establishment is disrupted, you lose much) A better solution is to admit the impermanence and fragility of those virtues and to cope endlessly, even though that feels tremendously burdensome and exhausting This solution is like a light-weight and micro-framework, which is more fundamental, and leaves us more leeway and freedom Sisyphus...
