What's your art form?

Trump said Deals are his art form Art is the only way to free oneself Only way to transcend That's also what Schopenhauer said, and I agree (Actually, it is the second way to transcend)

Endless mini-games

Do our lives consist of just endless mini-games, which are independent from each other? Where is the whole picture? "Connecting the dots"? Is there such a thing? Even Jobs, who said the phrase, admitted that 'the dots' were connected when looking back. There is no absolute goal to pursue in life, even if we are speaking about the goal for a specific individual. We just have to find some pleasure here and there in independent mini-games (disconnected dots). That's life. That independency is so scary to admit...

The world is so abstract

Humans try/want to find regularity, i.e. laws. Here, regularity ranges from the laws of physics to how to button a suit jacket. Through that endeavor humans achieved so many great things. (e.g. technology) But since abstractness is the essence of the world, humans are fated to fail to find the regularities which have no exception. "I know that I know nothing" is the cleverest statement in history. Being aware of the abstractness, that this world is full of uncertainty and that 'there is no rule' (except math) leads to instability of mind. The wiser you are, the more inescapable it becomes.

Every strand of thoughts

constitutes a person So every single strand of thoughts is important In that regard, Napoleon Hill is very right

Aesthetic life

By my definition, it just means the best life But I want to use the word "aesthetic" A person's aesthetic sense can't be trained It's mostly an inborn quality Someone says that person A is more beautiful than person B, movie A is greater than movie B, music A is better than music B There is a saying: "Beauty (aesthetic) is in the eye of the beholder" But I am 100% certain that person B is more beautiful than person A, movie B is greater than movie A, music B is better than music A I can't agree otherwise, and I know I'm right What life is greater? It is also determined by one's inborn aesthetic sense I am certain I have a great aesthetic sense, and I should try to live the most aesthetic life

How lucky I am

that I face this crisis in my prime, when I have vigorous energy of mind It's best to suffer never, but It's better to suffer earlier than later It was painful but I managed to get through It could have been a deadlock How lucky I am

Diligence

Compared to other virtues (Wisdom, Patience, Courage, etc.), I would say it is non-essential But it is definitely a non-negligible, and very practical, down-to-earth virtue which has potential to outdo all the other virtues in terms of worldliness Basically the very virtue which so-called successful people owe their success to (Passion, Never-Giving-Up, etc.) (I don't praise it too much. It is still non-essential. I'm just shedding light on it.)
