Poor Jordan Peterson

(Even if you haven't heard about Jordan Peterson, you can read on, because knowing of him or not doesn't matter. This writing is not specific for that one person. He is just an example. And this writing is self-contained so you don't need to know what he said.) He is considered as an insightful figure by many people Also there are many haters But his teachings are just a "compromise" He did not completely give in in front of majorities, but he compromised An actual truth speaker can be understood by almost no one (Again, he has both so many followers and haters, which means his teachings are acceptable and not ground-breaking to many people) His teachings are better than many parrot-like teachings in the world, but he is not bold enough to doubt the fundamental (underlying) concepts in this society, which can be dangerous to the society So-called intellectuals like Jordan Peterson always preach based on sustainable and handleable / swallowable views of the world "This world is not what you expected or have been taught, but here's hope" How much tailoring (justification) has to be made to fit in to bearable views of the world! With the undermost concepts not questioned, the upper layers are trimmed / tailored / fiddled with Without the courage to question the undermost concepts, all the knowledge is useless and can never lead to true insight

Happiness

It's an illusion But as I thought more, I concluded that strange or obvious as it may sound, only the illusioned can reach happiness because happiness is an illusion in itself (I don't agree with the idea that 'happiness is an illusion, so you never reach', because there are actually so many happy people around the world even though it could be short-lived or lack some ideal forms of happiness) The disillusioned can never reach happiness All / the best thing they can do is trying to prevent hardship / adversities It's so unfortunate that insight and happiness (or brightness) can't coexist

Brain getting dull

But it doesn't matter because there's nothing meaningful in this world "Nothing in mortal life is worthy of great concern" - Plato Only the illusioned (almost all people) chase after or admire energetic activities (physically or mentally) Why do you torture your poor mind (reason) when you finally get nothing meaningful in return 1. You are so illusioned that you think you'll get something meaningful 2. Torturing the poor mind or not doesn't matter so you choose to torture anyway (being aware that nothing is meaningful and nothing matters)

No cause

My brain, My nervous system, are like never before Stabbed in the eyes wide open No more cause No more ideal Only body No soul Like an empty can robot For what should my heart beat? Nothing causes No cause

Biggest dilemma

All religions say in common "love your neighbor" Even without thinking about religions, our morality, our ethics, our social norm, our culture, are based on "love your neighbor" It's so fundamental But what if it's not possible? (to love neighbor) Then he is in deep trouble, proportionally to how fundamental "love your neighbor" is I may say it is the biggest trouble

Two level above

People can understand and admire one level above themselves, but not two (or greater) level above Oftentimes, it's considered as below, not above The only condition they admire two (or greater) level above is, when people whom they admire admire it Indirectly, just through lens of others

Igniting the will

Being a slave to the will So many people can't think outside this, thinking it's the only right way they should go

I refuse to play the fucked-up game

When a game is unfair, rigged and all the players are like basically NPCs, (by which I mean the players can't think for themselves) I refuse to play I deny the game Some of the players say "You mustn't run away" "You're a loser if you give up" "You lack the courage to fight back, coward" "You're quitting because you're incompetent and can't win (succeed)" They are saying that because they themselves are in the game As always, a thing justifies itself So what they say is meaningless No need to dispute the claim by proving that actually you can win inside the game Many poor people (who feel the game is fucked-up) are struggling to catch up and carry on inside the game, without realizing that denying the game itself is an option Not just an option, but probably the wisest, boldest, greatest, out-of-box option

The greatest accomplishment

β€œTo be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
